On the 42nd anniversary of the PKK armed struggle, the headlines are fixated on disarmament and surrender to the Turkish state. But after 42 years, we are looking at a revolution that has already transcended continents. It’s no coincidence that the comrades of AIF, fighting alongside the Chin Brotherhood in Myanmar today, chose a Kurdish song rooted in PKK tradition. Şoreşgerî karê me ye / Revolution is our business Çîyayê bilind warê me ye / The high mountains are our home Ar û namûs barê me ye / Honor is our burden Li hemberê wan faşîstan / Against those fascists

That’s Mazloum Abdi, the Kurdish commander and military hero who spent 12 years fighting and helping defeat ISIS as the U.S.’s most reliable ally in Syria. Instead of medals, he wears pictures of his fallen comrades on his chest. He was betrayed by Trump.

A Syrian govt soldier, captured by Druze resistance in Suwayda, has confirmed what many knew but few dared to say: the govt ordered its forces to hide their role in the massacre to avoid Israeli airstrikes. He identify his commander as Brig. Gen. Mohammed al-Jassem (Abu Amsha), recently sanctioned by the EU for his role in the 6–27 March Alawite massacre. Damascus unleashed the jihadist horde, then tried to vanish behind it. The Druze stood alone.

From a military analyst’s point of view, this could hardly be labeled as a coup attempt against Venezuela. Either it was a deliberate distraction, or the people around Trump were so incompetent they genuinely thought this would work. What happened next: the Vice President immediately convened the Council of Defense of the Nation, invokes extraordinary powers within the constitutional framework, and appears publicly with the entire civilian and military leadership. That’s not a regime in free fall, that’s leadership closing ranks and buying time to rally support. More importantly, there’s no military fracture. No rogue colonel. No brigade or division moving against the government. No seizure of state media. No competing authority inside the country claiming legitimacy. Nothing. What you have instead is institutional shelling-up, coordinated signaling, and a rally effect, while the U.S. side offers nothing but banditry, rhetoric, and Elon Musk tweeting nonsense. If this looks more like a pantomime than regime change, it's because it is one.

I've translated and subtitled this speech by Veysi Aktaş from yesterday's historical PKK martyrs' commemoration in Istanbul. His words describe a discursive tradition of sacrifice: the martyrs hold 'direct connection' with the Leadership; the living, he says, 'are halfway there... half humans,' where the martyrs 'are whole' -- having 'proven' loyalty through death." This isn't a deviation from the movement's political theology, it is its grammar. A tradition, links a past (the martyrs' resistance), a present (the living cadre's incomplete devotion), and a future (the 'new history' Aktaş invokes) through a shared practice: proximity to sacrifice as the measure of fidelity. To describe this is not to condemn it by imported liberal categories of 'cult' or 'fanaticism'. But it is worth sitting with: this grammar was spoken to mothers of the dead, about a man very much alive on Imrali, in a movement whose cause and right to resist are beyond dispute.

6/ But the most outstanding part is Jolani's "too good to be true" proposal for a decentralized Syria ruled by councils that recognize Syria’s ethnic, religious, and sectarian diversity—essentially what AANES proposed from day one, only to be rejected by Assad at every turn.

Unedited footage from Tabqa, my unit leading the push before Raqqa. The Kurdish-led SDF lost 12 000 fighters defeating ISIS. Now Washington hands their victory flag to the people they fought. The Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS has finally been defeated by irony.

I spent the past few months screaming to whoever was willing to listen that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham couldn't be allowed to rule Syria—that they would butcher minorities and that genocide would inevitably take place. That Jolani might have rebranded himself as Ahmed al-Sharaa, but 20 years as an al-Qaeda emir don’t just wash off. And that his troops, the ones everyone calls the Syrian security forces, are literally ISIS militants. This blood is on your hands—the world leaders who rushed to endorse Jolani’s takeover of the Syrian government: 🇺🇸 Barbara Leaf U.S. State Dept - Near Eastern Affairs 🇺🇳 Geir O. #Syria / Mario Nawfal (a Qatari-funded grifter) tried to boot me from his propaganda Space after I exposed his hero al-Julani's recent history of massacres of Kurds, Alawites, & Druze. He FAILED spectacularly: a mysterious "glitch" stopped the kick, so they panicked & SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE SPACE to silence me. Raw recording attached, hear them squirm. Share if you're done with terrorist-laundering propaganda. This is how they operate when exposed.
