Hamilton Twp Police Chief Scott Hughes says the shooting near Kroger in Maineville appears to be an accident. Someone is in custody. Chief says it appears someone was firing a gun at a home and the bullets traveled into the front of the Kroger store. Two people were hit, but are expected to recover. Meant to share this over the weekend! My friend’s dad sent this to me. Harlan Thomas, manager of DCD Logging in Indiana saved an owl while at log job. The owl was frozen in the snow out on the forest so Harlan put him in the work truck to warm him up. After half and hour in the truck, he warmed up. They opened the door and he flew out to live another day! WLWT

A coordinated burglary shut down before it started… West Chester police moved in as five suspects believed to be tied to a South American theft ring headed toward a Beckett Ridge home. Police say this group is targeting homes of Asian and Latino business owners. Here is body camera footage of four of the arrests. Charges are pending against a fifth suspect, a woman who was arrested after the attempted burglary in Franklin Co Indiana. WLWT

A scary situation inside a South Lebanon, OH store ends with a powerful reminder… Teach your kids how to use their voice. Repeat sexual predator Robert Deweese was out of prison just 3 days when investigators say he sexually assaulted a 6yo inside a family restroom. Using a technique she learned in scouts called the “Lion’s Roar,” the child screamed and scared him away. Deputies tracked him down to a nearby home. Today, Deweese was indicted on multiple counts, including rape. WLWT
