I have always wondered why Ajith came across as different. Then I saw this interview clip. I don’t think any politician in the country, including the so called Right wing ones would dare to tell the public to take responsibility for their own lives. I am reminded of Red s description of Andy Dufresne in Shawshank Redemption. “ He had a quiet way about him… a walk and a talk that just wasn’t normal around here. He strolled, like a man in a park without a care or a worry in the world. Like he had on an invisible coat that would shield him from this place.” This man spent all his life in Kollywood, yet remains untouched by its dominant ideology. Impressed. Thala for a reason.
