Love, joy, inclusion, diversity - Mardi Gras is an antidote to hate &amp; repression. As an ocean swimmer, the surf life savers were my favourite part of the parade. I definitely felt in urgent need of some mouth to mouth resuscitation! #MardiGras2026 #Sydney

I was just about to do my laps in the sea when I realised I wouldn’t be swimming alone! And it wasn’t even shark o’clock! My rellos say nurse sharks are the puppy dogs of the sea but I wouldn’t be patting any! #southcoastnsw #sharks

Sadly, less that 15 percent of autistic people are in the workforce, which is a much lower inclusion rate than other neurodiverse groups. If only more employers would think outside the neurotypical box, like the fab Joe Allen Restaurant where my dear son Jules is now working. #Autism

I haven’t won an award since Best Legs at Bondi 1979 so v chuffed to be chosen as an “Exceptional Woman of Excellence” by the G100 Group of Women Leaders. The award is in recognition of my work as an author for gender equality which makes my ovaries throb with joy. Thank you!
