The state of street cleaning in NYC. There shouldn’t be any parked cars on this side of the street now, but drivers either don’t move their car at all because tickets are cheaper than paid parking or people sit and idle in their car. This is a policy failure.

What do you do when elected officials are hearing from their constituents, particularly drivers, who don’t want to see these safety improvements put in place? The last I checked, the mayor didn’t go block by block to ask if people wanted a fire station. We prioritize safety.
