What stuck with me in 2022 is that the Roomba photos weren’t leaked. They were sent out normally, as intended, to contractors who were paid to review them one by one. A woman sitting in the bathroom of her own home ended up in a Facebook group because "someone thought it was funny". Matic can’t do that even if it wanted to. The processing stays inside the robot. Cut the Wi-Fi and it keeps cleaning. It’s the first time you’re not being asked to take a company at its word.
