The driver of the red SUV ended up slamming on their brakes in the middle lane of Wellborn to get behind the truck in the left lane to follow it turning left on William D Fitch. They admit they shouldn’t have been doing fireworks and say that’s why they chose smaller, less disruptive ones so their kids could enjoy them. According to the family, a man who lives nearby and claims to be a federal law enforcement officer, drove his vehicle over the fireworks and told them to stop. The family feels that crossed a line. They say if there was a problem, the appropriate step would’ve been calling dispatch so an on-duty officer could handle it. So… what do you think? 👉 Were both sides in the wrong? 👉 Did the driver overreact? 👉 Or is the frustration understandable given the situation?
