and the home of the… CHIEEEEEEFS!!!!

K9 rolling in for work.

The trucks are getting loaded up as the Chiefs prepare for training camp in St. Joseph. It’s almost that time!

And the home of the… CHIEFS!!!!

And the home of the… CHIEFS!!! (This does not get old)

Travis Kelce walked into today’s presser repping Iowa State after the Cyclones beat Kelce’s alma mater, Cincinnati, last weekend 😂 Kelce begrudgingly did it for Brad Gee, the Chiefs’ VP of Communications and an ISU alum.

This is what it’s all about.

This is what it’s all about.

Kickoff is over four hours from now. It’s 3 degrees. #ChiefsKingdom is HERE!

Loudest “Let’s Go Royals” of the night after KC got it done in the Bronx. Shoutout to my correspondent in the stands (my wife).

Duties as assigned 🫡

…and the home of the… CHIEFS!!!

Here’s a look inside the green room at Union Station. Just a few days away!

It’s that kinda day!

Here's an example of what new Chiefs' cornerback Robert Rochell can bring to the special teams unit, specifically as a gunner in punt coverage. Rochell, who runs a 4.38, recorded 558 special teams snaps over the last three seasons.

"We'll be disciplined and detailed in everything in how we handle our business. There's a standard of performance and excellence that will be expected. - Eric Bieniemy on taking over as the Chiefs' OC

If the Chiefs want to add an edge-rusher at No. 29 or 40, Zion Young from Mizzou is a guy who could make some sense! Long frame (6-foot-6, 33-inch arms) at 262 pounds who racked up 16.5 (!!) TFLs last year.

"If you asked me what I need to get better at, I'd run you off a list of things that you probably think I'm great at...There's so much work to be done and so much to learn." Love this attitude from Peter Woods.

A rookie free agent signee to keep an eye on as OTAs get underway is wide receiver Jacob De Jesus, whose 108 receptions last season ranked second in the FBS.

Here's the entire statement from Rick Burkholder, the Chiefs' Vice President of Sports Medicine and Performance, on Patrick Mahomes' injury, plus his answer about a potential timetable. Lots of good info here.

"There's a lot of great players in this league, but not a lot of great finishers." If you ever made it up to camp during Eric Bieniemy's time in KC, you probably remember him yelling "finish!" over and over again. Here's where that mentality comes from ⤵️

Jaydn Ott is a player from the Chiefs' undrafted rookie class worth keeping an eye on this spring. Just a few years removed from rushing for 1,300+ yards and 12 TDs at Cal in 2023. He has return experience, too.

"Whatever I can give back, I'll give back." Chiefs rookie edge rusher Ashton Gillotte, who donated most of his NIL earnings to charity, spoke about why giving back is so important to him earlier today.

"It's going to take time, but I'm willing to put the work in." Rugby star turned Chiefs running back Louis Rees-Zammit spoke about his experience at rookie minicamp, his expectations for himself, and the transition from rugby to football.

Keondre Coburn is pumped to be a Chief. I challenge you to watch this without smiling.

"It's a long process, but I'm excited for it." Patrick Mahomes spoke about his injury rehab so far and what his goals are moving forward.

"It was important that when they left here they understood what needs to be taken care of." Coach Reid spoke about his message to the Chiefs' rookie class heading into the offseason.

“The most important things are the details and your routine.” Good stuff here from rookie defensive tackle Keondre Coburn on how he’s adjusting to life as a pro.
