My vision for an ultra-low friction wearable AI voice assistant is starting to take shape. Here’s the latest update (download link in the tweet below): • Added Tap-to-Talk: Tap once to start speaking - Iris will automatically detect when you're done talking. The previous Push-to-Talk (touch & hold) is still available. • Quick launch from complication: Start talking immediately when launching from a watch face complication - no taps needed. • Volume persistence: Your preferred volume setting is now remembered between sessions. • Improved AirPods experience: Fixed a bunch of issues that often prevented the app from working with AirPods. • Enhanced text navigation: Scroll conversation text with your finger, in addition to the Digital Crown. • Auto-scrolling: Text also automatically scrolls to show new content as it’s spoken (watchOS 11 only). • Latest AI model: Now powered by OpenAI's newest 'gpt-realtime' model. • Battery optimization: Improved energy efficiency, let me know if you still notice any unexpected drain.
