What if your dinner could fly over traffic instead of sitting in it? We are now scaling to provide Uber Eats more than 1 million autonomous deliveries a day. Uber is becoming an investor in Zipline. We’ve entered the scaling era for robotics and physical AI.

Life is short. Skeptics are probably right more often than they are wrong, but they also don't go on epic adventures or get to work on projects that move humanity forward. Ignore the skeptics and build the future!

Today, Chipotle announced autonomous burrito delivery. They are calling it “Zipotle”. As someone who spent years living off burrito bowls, I can’t believe I can now get Chipotle delivered by a robot in less than 10 minutes. Chipotle

The Bitter Lesson of Robotics: It's extremely easy to make a video of a robot doing something once under perfect conditions then post it to X. But it often takes a decade to harden systems and design for all the insane edge cases of the real world. Many companies raising $$$$ on cool demos, but all the hard work comes after

A new kind of mailbox is born. Now any building can get access to drone delivery in 3 hours, no permitting or construction required. Often partners load through a window in the wall, so they never have to step outside at all

We design the autonomy algorithm of the pod to be "shy". We love excited kids, but pods prefer to have a little bit of space 😎

Today we’re making one of the biggest announcements in Zipline’s history. We have signed a $150m contract with the US State Dept that will come with $400m of co-commitments from our African partner govts. This will expand life saving autonomous delivery to 130m people in Africa

Whoa, Zipline just made the first beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) flight using onboard perception in US history. We were told a few days ago by a respected reporter they thought this wouldn’t happen for ten years and it happened two days later 😅

Take a tour of Zipline’s maintenance hub for autonomous aircraft in Dallas. This hub will service thousands of aircraft by end of the year, and we’re replicating it in Houston and Phoenix this month 📈
