Chase Elliott excused himself from the media to congratulate Carson Hocevar on his way to victory lane. Elliott thinks it'll be a hurting Monday for Hocecar.

Chase Elliott and Ross Chastain were All-Star drivers who didn’t make it to the main event. A bunch of others ran around damaged with no shot. So, was this Exhibit A that the Open needs to come back to separate the races? Denny Hamlin on that and Dover being a points race:

Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch are really good talking about racing and engaging with each other on “Actions Detrimental.” No surprise there. I’m not through the whole episode but Hamlin’s take on Kansas and Larson is interesting. “It’s not his fault that we all can’t execute.”
