Honestly, the Halo sprint debate was put best by Chris Ray Gun 6 years ago Here’s one snippet, but highly recommend watching the full video. He makes extremely good points covering different areas of game design. Don’t want to just reupload the full thing, but he does go very in depth Movement mechanics destroy what makes Halo special. It’s unique combat pacing. It’s sandbox focus. It’s weapon/map design. It will always be detrimental
