I don’t understand why many people are saying Ronova drops the Nail on Snezhnaya. To me, it clearly looks like she’s destroying it, and she looks almost sad while doing so. That’d mean she’s helping Snezhnaya if this Nail has been a threat all along… Perhaps Ronova is choosing to free herself from the shackles, give up her authority (fading feathers), and abandon her duty. We know she has a history of subtle compassion and was punished for it in the past (also her lunar arcanum card - maybe she’s finally choosing to embrace the human world and become mortal?) Now she herself could disappear and be fading, with the transgression triggering self-destruction (This whole thing lowk reminds me of Melanta & Nihilita), but I’m not sure Hoyo would off her permanently. I’m almost certain that line “Now… I can kill without further consequence” is misleading. Maybe she says that during the fight to the Traveler specifically, during the episode of Curse of Death, because rules don’t apply to them? In CN, she actually sounds less weary and more villainous, almost sinister, and says something along the lines of “Now, I can finally indulge in bringing death/bring death as I please,” all of which, to me, doesn’t really match her overall mood in that Nail scene.

![[6.6 Archon Quest spoilers] What are the chances Dottore hid the Pyro Gnosis inside the Traveler during this scene? Something about his calmness here feels deliberate, especially that little laugh at the end after trying to restrain us. And tbh at that point, what reason would he even have to stop the Traveler? 😭 Meanwhile the Pyro Gnosis has conveniently vanished… Crack theory is that Dottore used that moment to hide it inside the Traveler’s body, maybe even did something to make it so not even Traveler would sense it on top of them being unaffected by Irminsul. If true, maybe in Snezhnaya the Tsaritsa will finally find a way to retrieve the last Gnosis… from us. We've finally got the official lyrics for Rerir's boss theme (2nd phase) AND MY HEART CANNOT TAKE THIS 😭 It seems to be a direct reference to the opening of Catallus 8 -- a poem by a Roman poet named Gaius Valerius Catullus, in which he tells himself to move on from and forget about his beloved 🥀 Will put the full poem in the replies.❤️🩹 But here: I've isolated the vocals from the boss theme to hear it properly (with meaning!).
