On India Today I said it plainly: Dhurandhar is gore, misogyny, and manufactured anti-Muslim fear. Also Bollywood needs to stop exoticising Muslims. Leave them alone, they’re just trying to get through another day.

Has Dhurandhar really liberated India from “Urdu-wood”? On Kunal Kamra’s show, I argued that it’s actually the opposite. If you take out Urdu and “Muslim” parts from Dhurandhar, there’s nothing left. You become the thing you hate the most.
