हम चाहते थे कि इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा हो, जिसके बाद गृह मंत्री एक स्टेटमेंट दें, लेकिन सरकार ने हमारा ही मुंह बंद करा दिया। आखिर प्रदर्शन कर रहे बच्चों पर लाठीचार्ज क्यों किया गया, उन्हें क्यों मारा-पीटा गया? अगर इन मुद्दों पर संसद में भी चर्चा न हो, तो कहां बात करें? ये सरकार खुद anarchy create कर रही है, लोगों को उकसा रही है, ताकि उन पर लाठीचार्ज करवाया जाए, उन्हें मार-पीटकर, डराकर जेल में डाला जाए। हम कल भी सदन में इन मुद्दों पर बात करना चाहते थे, लेकिन हमें मौका नहीं दिया गया। ऊपर से हमें सदन से बाहर भी नहीं जाने दिया गया, जेल की तरह अंदर ही रखा गया। देश आज anarchy की तरफ बढ़ रहा है, जिसे मोदी जी और अमित शाह control नहीं करना चाहते हैं। हम ऐसे रवैये की कड़ी निंदा करते हैं।

BJP-RSS के लोग बिना बैज के पुलिस के बीच काम करते हैं। ये लोग अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से छात्रों और कांग्रेस नेताओं को डराने-धमकाने का काम कर रहे हैं। छात्रों के साथ अगर ये सरकार हमारे वरिष्ठ नेताओं को कुचलने की कोशिश करेगी तो देश में लाखों लोग खड़े होंगे, फिर ये नियंत्रित नहीं कर पाएंगे। फिर ये सरकार पछताएगी कि उन्होंने राहुल गांधी जी, प्रियंका गांधी जी और बाक़ी नेताओं के साथ ऐसा क्यों किया। मगर हम डरेंगे नहीं, हम लड़ते रहेंगे। कांग्रेस पार्टी और INDIA गठबंधन के लोग लड़ाई जारी रखेंगे।

I had the privilege of taking the oath of office as a Member of the Council of States, again. It is a matter of immense pride and responsibility to continue serving this august Upper House as the Leader of the Opposition. I extend my sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, and to the Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, Shri Harivansh, for their continued support. I also express my heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of the Indian National Congress, especially CPP Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi, my fellow colleagues & MPs in the Congress Party, and to the countless party workers and supporters whose unwavering faith and encouragement have sustained me throughout my long journey in public life and Parliamentary service. I am equally grateful to the Floor Leaders of all political parties, especially our colleagues in the INDIA bloc, and the wider Opposition, for their cooperation and camaraderie. The Hon’ble Supreme Court’s argument is that we should first go to the Election Commission, then to the High Court, and only thereafter approach the Supreme Court. However, this is a special case. The more time that is given, the longer this matter will be dragged out. That is why we wanted the Supreme Court to provide relief in the Meenakshi Natarajan case. Nevertheless, since the Court has said so, we will approach the High Court accordingly. We believe that this rejection is illegal, immoral, and anti-democratic. What the BJP Govt has done is wrong. Such major actions do not happen without the approval or direction of PM Modi. We believe that these steps are being taken deliberately as part of a larger conspiracy to weaken the Congress Party and undermine Democracy. In our view, these actions are aimed at harassing and suppressing the Opposition.

मोदी सरकार के 12 सालों में ग़रीबी घटाने की Campaign की Reality ⤵️ पहले ग़रीब से मनरेगा के तहत काम का अधिकार छीना, अब रोटी का निवाला भी छीन रही है ! 2016: मोदी जी ने दावा किया था कि उज्जवला योजना के तहत महिलाओं को लकड़ी के चूल्हे के धुएं से मुक्ति मिलेगी। साल में 12 सब्सिडी वाले सिलेंडर का वादा था। जो पिछले साल 12 से घटाकर 9 कर दिए। 2026: अब सब्सिडी वाले सिलेंडर की संख्या 9 से घटाकर केवल 4 कर दी गई। यानि, 12 का वादा, पर 4 का इरादा। LPG की कीमतें बार-बार बढ़ाई गईं। 5.56 करोड़ लाभार्थी रिफिल ख़रीदने में असमर्थ हैं। सिलेंडर छोड़, माता-बहनें चूल्हा अपनाने को मजबूर, … उनके आंसूओं पर घड़ियाली आँसू बहाने वाली मोदी सरकार सत्ता के नशे में चूर !!

It is shameful that the Prime Minister is making a statement outside the House, when Parliament is in session. It is his duty to make a comprehensive statement inside the Parliament on Manipur violence. Therefore, we are requesting the Chairman of Rajya Sabha and the Speaker of Lok Sabha that the PM should make a statement on what is the situation in Manipur. हम Rule 267 के तहत सदन के बहस चाहतें हैं। पर मोदी सरकार के मंत्री कहते हैं Short Duration ही discussion होगा, दूसरा कहता है केवल Half an Hour discussion होगा। Rule 267 घंटों बहस चल सकती है, Voting भी हो सकती है, हम वो चाहते हैं। पहले प्रधानमंत्री जी का विस्तृत बयान हो और उसके बाद 267 के अंतर्गत संसद में बहस हो। मोदी सरकार और भाजपा मणिपुर पर अपनी संवैधानिक ज़िम्मेदारी और जवाबदेही से भाग नहीं सकती।
