This clip was sent to us by a family waiting to board their bus. Over just the past week, we’ve fully funded the return journey of 60 refugee families. We contemplated on whether to share this clip as it’s quite distressing. The cholera isolation centre we are supporting in Al Fitehab Omdurman is struggling to cope. For lack of beds patients are having to lie in wheelbarrows or on the floor. We are doing our best to provide the IV drips and medication needed to give these patients a fighting chance. Please if you can help, the link is in the reply.

🚨🚨Yesterday, our volunteers went to the displacement Shelter housed in Paradise Nursery in Al Hitana Omdurman. As they were trying to distribute baby formula, an RSF fired shell landed in the Nursery Courtyard; as the children were playing. Two young boys were killed and another 11 children were hospitalised with varying degrees of injury. This clip filmed by one of our volunteers shows the aftermath of the incident. Khartoum Aid Kitchen will be contributing to the cost of the medical treatment of these children. If you are able to contribute towards the cost of this as well as our other vital work please follow the link.

Throughout this war, our kitchens have remained central to the communities they serve. They feed people who have lost their sources of income and often their homes. While the security situation has improved in much of Sudan, the humanitarian crisis remains dire. This is just one of the displacement camps set up in Sudan’s River Nile state to house some of the 400,000 civilians who fled RSF militia violence in Al Gezira. This camp continues to grow daily and now houses thousands. We are working to support these people as much as we can, but we can only do that with your support.
