人物デッサンにおいて、最も重要な要素はジェスチャー（gesture）です。ジェスチャーはデッサンの魂であり、その生命感とエネルギーを決定づけます。ジェスチャーは物語を語り、少なくともその人物の感情やムードを伝えています。レンダリング（仕上げ）、解剖学、顔のディテールなどは、すべてジェスチャーの重要性の前では二次的なものです。よく言われるように、明確なムードや心の状態を伝えられないデッサンは、良いデッサンとは言えません。明確なジェスチャーは、60秒以内で描けるべきです。たとえシンプルな棒人間であっても、感情、物語、そしてキャラクターさえ表現することができます。#kicstudio
