#Queenoftears will always be close to Jiwon and the drama of the decade 🤌❤️ Host: Come to think of it, it's already been two years since Queen of Tears came out. Wow, time really flies. Jiwon: I know, right? Host: It set the highest viewership rating in tvN drama history—24.9%! Wow, that's truly... Host: Truly, how does it feel? Even two years later, hitting nearly 25%—these days, 25% feels like passing 50% back in the old days. Host: That's right. In fact, because you've mostly played resilient, candy-like characters in the past, fans would say things like, "I want to see Kim Jiwon throwing Hermes bags around in a penthouse!" Jiwon: Ah, people express things so vividly and tastily, don't they? Host: Right, exactly! It's so brilliant. Like wanting to see you crying while slamming the steering wheel in an expensive luxury car. Why do people want to see that? Jiwon: I was just curious myself. Because I'd played resilient characters a lot, I think people wanted to see something relatively different. Like, "Please play a third-generation chaebol!" Host: And you finally did that through Queen of Tears! How was it? Jiwon: Honestly speaking... physically, it was quite comfortable. Host: Ah, right, of course, because you're a chaebol. Jiwon: Yes, yes. So there were a lot of scenes riding in nice cars, shooting in warm places when it was cold, and in air-conditioned places when it was hot. So I thought, "Ah, being a third-generation chaebol is great!" Jiwon: But because the outfits were so high-end and expensive, while acting I'd act all chic, but when resting or sitting down, I'd be super careful “What if a single thread gets pulled?” If something got damaged, I'd have to compensate for it. Because we had to return everything once filming ended. Jiwon: On the flip side, when playing a resilient character, you have to suffer in the cold when it's cold and sweat in the heat. True, you can lie down anywhere, which is nice too. But being a chaebol was too good. Host: But isn't the physical ease nice too? Jiwon: Yes, it's great. There's a comfortable side to being able to move freely like that as well. Host: Now, one difficult thing I heard about was diet management. You love Chinese cuisine, but you supposedly cut it out for a full year? Jiwon: But actually, someone asked me if there was any special effort I made for the drama, and since everyone puts in a fair amount of effort, I was thinking about whether I did anything special. I had been super into Sichuan Jajang ramen at the time... Host: Ah, those are delicious. Jiwon: Yes, so I mentioned that I briefly stopped eating those. But then news articles blew it up into: Jiwon cuts out Chinese food for a year!" So I was like, It wasn't quite to that extent... I just temporarily paused eating Sichuan Jajang ramen. So I'm correcting the record here. Host: Ah, you just paused it briefly. Jiwon: Yes, just paused it for a bit. #KimJiWon #김지원

Uri Gongjunim looking absolutely Gorgeous in yooquiz 🤌😍 her episode will air on Wednesday, October 7, at 8:45 PM KST. The Queen of viewership ratings, our Kim Jiwon! Actress Kim Jiwon is here! Yay! This is her first solo variety show appearance. Right, I was so nervous that yesterday I tried to lie down to sleep, but kept jumping right back up. Biting my fingernails and shaking my legs like crazy that was the kind of state I was in. So, wanting to add one or two more stories to the senior's one million and one heartwarming stories, the senior used their teeth to wham tear open the gift wrapping like that! Ah, seeing just how precious teeth are... Wait, is it surprising that this became a heartwarming story? Could you please do that line for us once in a while? This one: "It's not that I'm trying to act prettyI was just born looking pretty." (Blushing) (Warm smile) (Gentle smile) Senior, then how about this? Ah... (to the director) A heart...? (Shyly following Jiwon's lead) Getting off work, going home, and letting out a sigh while lying on the couch... because there's a bit of emotional exhaustion, Everything about Kim Jiwon that hasn't been revealed until now! #KimJiWon #김지원
