*A very terrifying incident occurred yesterday in Maraban Jos, where a mob killed and burned a woman suspected of being a child trafficker.* The woman had come to the area asking for directions to a school where she was supposed to have lectures with her colleagues. Unfortunately, because the rate of missing children in the area is alarmingly high, residents became suspicious. Before long, they began shouting “child trafficker,” and the situation quickly escalated. Despite the efforts of the community leader, who tried to hide her in his house, the mob threatened to burn down the house if she was not handed over. In the end, the police released her to the crowd, and she was murdered. This was an innocent mother who was killed without trial or evidence. Justice for Ummulkhair. The government and relevant authorities must ensure that everyone involved in this barbaric act is arrested and made to face the full weight of the law.
