Scenes like this are what make me worry about communism. That doctor or nurse, whoever she is and I know it’s only a show, but in real life she should have been arrested immediately and had her license taken. She does not have the right to forcibly give a child antibiotics against the parents’ wishes, whether the parents are right or wrong. It is their right to choose not to put pharmaceuticals in their child. Shows like this push the envelope toward communism.

The pastor is the father of both children… but it gets worse. He convinces the parents to agree to a marriage between him and Lane. The detectives get there in time to stop it, but the parents continued to defend the pastor, as they believed their son was the father of Tate, and probably Lane’s baby. He had manipulated them into believing it. As soon as the detectives reveal Summer and Lane were both abused by the Pastor, the mother agrees to testify, and that both Lane and Summer will testify to what happened to them. Pastor is arrested, but holds that none of this will stand up in court. He’s taken away.
