“I texted him multiple times, and he never responded to me, so I didn’t know.” Travis poking fun at Trent when he committed to UK. 😂 The journey Trent and Travis have been on together is truly as “storybook” as it gets. Competed against each other in the state tournament, became teammates at the school they grew up watching. And are now about to compete against their rivals Tennessee for the third time this year in the NCAA Sweet 16. Fitting to look back at the memorable Tennessee home game this year. 😏

I have some bittersweet news to share... today is my last day at LEX 18 News. I'm moving back home for a little bit to spend time with my family and look forward to sharing what's next when the time comes! So excited about this feature coming soon on BBN Tonight!! Chase Nicholas, who was diagnosed with T-cell leukemia last year, is this week’s “Lift Them Up” kid for Kentucky Football. This one has been a long time coming! Josh Kattus and Marques Cox have played a huge part in all this and I appreciate them and the family for letting me visit Chase at the hospital and get the chance to tell his story.
