I asked De’Aaron Fox is there any pressure or guilt the players feel after the front office dismissed head coach Mike Brown: “We all know the job that we have. You can be traded at any point, released, cut, fired or whatever it may be. I wouldn’t use the word guilt, but that’s the nature of the job that we have. Obviously him signing his extension this summer we thought we’d be together a whole lot longer but that’s the decision that they made. At the end of the day to, he’s still getting paid. That’s the great part about being a NBA player or a NBA coach is those things can happen but those contracts are guaranteed.”

Caught up with Charles Barkley today at the American Century Championship and asked him what Sacramento needs to do to get back to the NBA playoffs. Barkley: "A miracle. A hand of God. Sac State will have a new starting quarterback for Saturday’s home opener. Carson Conklin was at practice today with his wrist in a cast. Head coach Alonzo “Zo” Carter wouldn’t put a timeline on his return, but said, “He will be back.” Jackson Sharman will get the start against Mississippi Valley State.
