50 years ago, KISS had just wrapped the Destroyer tour and went straight back into the studio to record new music. The result? Iconic tracks such as "Calling Dr. Love" and "Hard Luck Woman" were handed to the world with the band's next album — Rock And Roll Over. Half a century later, the album remains a legendary piece of #KISSTORY 🔥 From recording with producer Eddie Kramer at the abandoned New York venue Star Theatre, to the homecoming Madison Square Garden show, to Budokan mania in Japan — go behind the scenes in a brand new article by Ken Sharp:

50 years ago today — September 10, 1975 — Alive! hit the shelves 🔥 The live album that captured the raw fire of KISS on stage didn’t just mark a turning point for the band — it rewrote the rules of rock. In the words of Gene Simmons: “Alive! paved the way and inspired other bands to try and achieve that same success following that same model of the live album.” Alive! bottled the energy, intensity, and electricity of a KISS show, bringing the thrill of their roaring live performances into homes everywhere. Half a century later, the power of Alive! still hits like the first time, reminding generations of fans why KISS rules rock ’n’ roll ⚡️ As put by Paul Stanley, “The magic about “Rock and Roll All Nite” didn’t really happen until KISS Alive! That song clearly blew the doors open for us.” Relive the breakout of the song and the launch of the iconic album, with part 2 of our exclusive feature written by Ken Sharp: 📸 Fin Costello
