This 2010 BBC documentary on MC Oluomo and Oshodi takes you back in time and offers a glimpse into Koko Zaria’s unwavering loyalty to MC Oluomo. Mamok also speaks very well in the documentary. Sadly, he was shot dead by a rival gang on September 30, 2015. It is truly by God’s grace that Koko Zaria is still alive today. Following the death of Toba Ijaya, I sincerely hope Lagos stakeholders will come together to resolve any lingering disputes among these NURTW members. I have a bad feeling about the current tension, and I pray they choose peace, put aside their differences, and focus on making a living instead of losing more lives. Eko o ni baje oo

Koko Zaria mocking MC Oluomo over his bad leg is really low. Sego should caution him and not get carried away, agberos no too get loyalty like that, because lots of the people praising him today were once the same people doing “twaley” for MC Oluomo. K1 acted wisely by making sure no one tried to outshine MC, he even used his music to place MC above everyone, which is how it should be. Power is transient.

Fela Anikulapo Kuti broke down in tears while recording this song “Unknown Soldier.” He was overwhelmed with emotion, channeling deep pain and grief as he revisited the 1977 military attack on his Kalakuta Republic home and the death of his mother, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. I hope that one day the Federal Government will formally apologize to his family for her death and properly honour her legacy. In 2012, under President Goodluck Jonathan, the Federal Government proposed placing her image on the N5,000 note, but the Kuti family rejected the gesture. #Heroes
