Culture & truth over imposed narratives. Faith is personal, respect is non-negotiable.

The reason people like MSBaba, Malik, and others are now digging into the Quran is decades of insults and denigration of Yoruba spirituality by so many alfas. Now that the ignorant shit-face guy called Buchi is calling African practices dirty. Many of you go to church without knowing which parts of the Bible your pastors leave out during preaching, but people will start reading and showing them to you. I hope y'all won't come back crying for respect for your religion, since you don't know how to respect others.

This is one of Mount Zion’s own students speaking. Beyond pushing the same old propaganda, they’ve built a system where many young people volunteer or accept little pay because they believe it will make them famous or serve God, while the organization profits from the films. Parents, don’t let your children become tools for pushing narratives that demonize their own heritage. Encourage them to build real skills, pursue meaningful careers, and think critically instead of repeating 30-year-old propaganda.

Here’s the part of the video that was conveniently cut out because, of course, it doesn’t fit the narrative. This Yorùbá woman didn’t just show compassion; she gave him food, a place to sleep, and even a recharge card so he could continue trying to reach his brother. Strange how that part never made it into the clips being shared as “proof” that Yorùbá people are tribalistic. That’s how propaganda works: you omit the evidence that contradicts your conclusion and amplify only what supports it. People determined to confirm their own bias will conveniently pretend this part never happened.
