I feel like I need to set the record straight for Joe here…the fighters were legitimately getting paid 10k (half in ethereum half in mri coin) just as support and getting an additional 10k if they shouted out mri at any point which was basically matching what some of them were getting from the ufc. They also let the community vote on fight of the night and gave 50k to whoever won that. I believe they donated 50 or 100k to Cain Velasquez family while he was in jail. The coin did a lot of good for fighters way more than the ufc crypto sponsors and vechain who did nothing for the fighters. These sponsors complained and the ufc “put the kabosh” on the coin. Once fighters weren’t allowed to mention mri the run was over but man what a glorious time. Most fun I’ve ever had in crypto still to this day goated coin
