Koyin Sanusi stepped onto the Big Brother Naija stage and immediately stood out. He wasn't just another contestant; he was a young, vibrant hustler from Ogun state, carrying a spirit more valuable than any qualification on paper. He quickly stole the hearts of many, for his authentic self. However, Koyin's journey has been met with unfair criticism. He has been constantly shamed in the house for his communication style for "sounding like a child" and for not speaking perfect English. His age has also been a target for discrimination, and his humble beginnings have been used against him. It seems that in today's society, a person's worth is often measured by their eloquence in English, and their background is scrutinized for any sign of "less than." But for Koyination, his true supporters, success isn't about the number of polished words you speak. It's about the milestones you've crossed and the hurdles you've overcome to find your own silver lining. Koyin's success is marked in his hard work and the resilience that has allowed him to become an established young man despite facing countless setbacks. As we have seen, these demeaning comments don't stop him from being a good companion, a loyal friend, or a shoulder to cry on. Though he may not be the most expressive at first, those who take the time to crack his walls find a man who can speak for hours, sharing his heart and his story. Perhaps if they had taken the time to truly see and speak with him, they would understand that Koyin is a man of good humor and a pure heart, with no malice in his intentions. Koyin deserves to be judged not by the words he struggles to find, but by the undeniable heart he has shown to everyone. Months after the doors closed, I stayed open. I walked out with growth, lessons, quiet nights of self-discovery. Second runner-up, Last Man Standing, yes… but first in becoming who I was always meant to be. I’ve felt the cheers, I’ve felt the silence, I’ve felt the weight of expectations and the warmth of love from people who chose me without ever meeting me. Outside the cameras, I learned patience. I learned humility. I learned that purpose doesn’t rush, it waits for you to be ready. Now I return to say thank you. Thank you for believing, for holding space, for giving my name a reach I never expected. This is gratitude. This is growth. This is my homecoming. Lagos Island, Koyin Samod Sanusi is coming home. 💜

Imagine someone you’ve genuinely called a friend turning around to address you as a “remnant.” Words like that cut deep, because they reduce a whole human being your struggles, your wins, your loyalty to something disposable. Koyin reminds us that greatness isn’t about how loud you speak, but about the depth of your heart. He is proof that kindness, loyalty, and authenticity can never be diminished by someone else’s words. 💜 Video credit Big Brother Naija #BBNaija #KoyinSanusi

Being called different diabolical names unprovoked is enough to break any human down whether man or woman. But it is evident that Koyin is a hardworking man. From a very tender age, he has been putting in the work, and that dedication is exactly why he stands where he is today despite his young age. His resilience, discipline, and commitment speak louder than the negativity thrown his way. 💪✨ Koyinators x Kokomelon, this is why we must stand 10 toes down for Koyin because he represents strength, hard work, and perseverance. No amount of hate can dim the light of someone who has built himself on a foundation of consistency and integrity 💜 Video credit: Big Brother Naija #BBNaija #KoyinSanusi

An emotional moment that speaks volumes. When Koyin’s dad walked in, the tears flowed, not from sadness, but from a deep well of love, safety, and connection. It was a powerful reminder of the unbreakable bond they share. Sometimes, when someone truly special shows up, our emotions overflow, and that’s perfectly okay. Every tear Koyin shed spoke of how deeply he feels, how loved he is, and how safe he feels in his father’s presence. Let this moment be a reminder: you are not alone. You are strong, you are loved, and even in the hard moments, better days are ahead. And that smile? It will shine even brighter. Thank you Daddy for showing up 🫂💜 video credit #BBNaija #KoyinSanusi

From Koyin being called a “rat” to a “chihuahua” all of this simply because he’s young, composed, and earn his place in a space where others feel he doesn’t belong? Let’s be clear: Koyin worked hard to be where he is today not by chance, but by merit. His age is not a weakness! If anything, it’s a testament to how much he has achieved, how grounded he is, and how much more potential he holds. ✊ Video credit: Big Brother Naija VOTE KOYIN #BBNaija #KoyinSanusi
