Maternal Mortality is awfully high in this country and we are losing too many lives despite recent progress. We will continue to lend our voices and push for action until we see a drastic and sustained reduction in maternal deaths in our hospitals. This was Camilla a few days ago in police custody before her sentencing. We are told she pled guilty. 1.Did she willingly plead guilty? 2. Did she suffer these marks before she pled guilty ? 3. Have offenses of similar nature for a first time offender received a 1 year jail sentence ? 4. Is the judge aware this is what happened to her while in custody? 5. Is this what a woman should suffer in the hands of the police who at the very least are to uphold her rights as a citizen ? 6. Was this sanctioned by jubilee house? #FreeCamillaNow
