If you grew up in Nigeria during the 80s or 90s, you have likely seen this man’s picture somewhere. His images remain very much alive today. You can spot his stickers on commercial trucks, tricycles, buses, cars, and more. Back then, many young Nigerians believed he was Prophet Muhammad. Allow me to introduce you to the late Sheik Ibraheem Niass. He was a Senegalese leader of the Tijani Sufi order of Islam in West Africa. He has a large following. His followers display his pictures everywhere, constantly sing his praises, and see his image daily. Occasionally, Sheik Niass appears to his followers in miraculous ways, sometimes manifesting on a wall or unexpectedly in the sky. Lambalillahi!

It’s the truth!” Moderate Muslims may try to gaslight you by claiming that the Muslims in this video aren’t telling the truth, but that’s a lie. ![Growing up in a devout household, I was introduced to the teachings of Islam at a tender age. I attended Arabic school, where my primary focus was on learning the Quran & the Arabic language. However, my experience was marred by a dark reality. Madrasa (ilé kéwú) is a prison, Islam is a cult. Instead of nurturing my understanding and fostering a sense of ‘spirituality’, I was subjected to brutal methods of instruction, including physical beatings, torture, and various forms of abuse. These distressing techniques exposed me to the horrifying and terrifying aspects of the Quran, such as vivid depictions of hellfire and the notion that Allah would condemn me to eternal flames if I failed to worship him. Moreover, I also read that Allah harbored animosity towards non-Muslims. He calls them ‘the worst of the creatures’. [Surah Al-Bayyinah - verse 6] A supposed self-sufficient omnipotent deity wailing that people do not worship him.
