I’m just heading home from Queen’s Park and wanted to check in with all of you. From ramming through legislation in the late hours, to bypassing committee, Ford and his government are doing whatever they can to pass Bill 97, the highly undemocratic bill that limits Ford and his government from FOI requests; all of this JUST to shield his phone records. But the Ontario NDP and I will continue to fight against this unjust legislation and ensure we always hold this government accountable!

The Auditor General released a damning report on the Ford government's $ 2.5 billion Skills Development Fund. This fund awarded millions of dollars in grants to low-ranking companies that have no experience managing public money, which is “not fair, transparent or accountable,” the auditor general found.
