She’s Kitibwa Rena Grace, a 15-year-old girl whose dreams were shattered after sitting her PLE in 2024. Earlier today, I spoke to her mother, a single mother of four who is going through an incredibly difficult time. She lost her small salon business while trying to take care of the children and is now battling high blood pressure. As we speak, she is sick, and none of the other children managed to go to school this term. What broke my heart the most is Rena’s situation. Since 2024, she has never even known her exact PLE results. The school only told her that she got a First Grade, but they withheld the results because her school fees balance had accumulated to 800,000 UGX, which the mother failed to clear. I asked whether they had tried checking the results through SMS, but the mother told me the school blocked them. I got emotional while speaking to this confused and distressed woman. I kept asking myself why I don’t yet have the capacity to simply solve such a problem for a young girl without having to bring it here. But this is the reality. So I’m reaching out to all of you. How best can we come together to help this family?

As planned, today we had our inaugural walk/run that started at exactly 7:00aam. We did approximately 10 km, and I believe it was a good start. I was surprised that Nyanjura Doreen Omutatina could walk faster than most of us and finish the entire distance with ease. She actually wanted more. Thanks to our pioneers like Byamugisha Moses , SAPEX , Rubuzibwa Jordan , Abel Not Tesfaye, and others who showed up. It was fun and interesting. We had a brief meeting after the walk/run and came up with the following resolutions: 1. We shall be running/walking every Saturday starting at 7: 00 am from Kyap Gardens Kyanja ring road. 2. Our name is: X Treekers 3. We shall have branded T- shirts for idenfication and the spirit of teamwork 4. We opened a WhatsApp group and the only qualification to be part, is to join us on one of the Saturdays. We want serious people. 5. We shall always communicate the routes and any other information on the group. Lastly, I wish to warn all of you to never plan an early morning program with the likes of KASUKU , Patrick Salvado 👑 and Roland Tayebwa . These guys will wake up at 11: 00 and ask if it's 7am yet😂🙌 See you next Saturday 🙏

This woman Christine is known to me. I have known her for the last 5 years and in our group, we call he "Musumba Cate" because she's always encouraging us to pray. I was shocked to find her on TikTok until I called her to find out if this was true and she affirmed. But really turning a maid into a second wife in your marital home is something else 🙌

Look at this young life that’s been cut short 😭 That’s Irene’s story, and now she’s gone.💔 Let’s not forget that Irene had a family, relatives, and friends who are now grieving a loss they can never replace. What’s painful is the silence from some of the very people who are quick to take moral positions when those that continuously take other peoples’ lives die and their deaths are celebrated. When it comes to Irene’s experience, they suddenly have nothing to say. Y’all deserve hell😭

I had blocked Hon Mwesigye Frank along political lines spiced with insensitivity, disrespect and insults but I rise above that because I understand that humanity comes before political or personal disagreements. Frank, attended the burial and opened up our campaign to support Saad Jr’s education with 500k. And for the future of this young boy, I have buried my hutchet and unblocked. Thank you Frank for showing up 🙏

When I got an opportunity at the Launch of the Alternative Budget Priorities, I raised the issue of youth inclusion and Monetisation of digital platforms before the LoP Joel Ssenyonyi , Members of Parliament and other leaders. Buganda welcomed and gave us shelter. In AAA’s language, we went up to the bedroom and even claimed ownership but they still tolerated us. Buganda would have been one of the greatest kingdoms in Africa if it wasn’t for…………. Buganda is still among the most influential kingdoms in Africa. Even with all efforts to bury the Kingdom, it still emerges powerfully organized. May OUR God bless Buganda ( The God of our ancestors)🙏
