Those who are lamenting that BOBI WINE did not shake hands with Ssuna must be reminded of a timeless truth: Leadership is not measured by how many hands you touch, but by how many traps you refuse to fall into. There are individuals in our society who have perfected the art of masquerading,smiling in public while spitting venom in private.Their tongues drip with honey, yet their intentions crawl with serpents. To demand that a leader must embrace every hand, including the one known to strike in broad daylight, is to trivialize wisdom and glorify naïveté. Not every hand extended is a gesture of peace. Some are invitations to downfall. H.E is not a machine,he is human. But he is not a foolish human. He carries scars of betrayal, bruises of deception, and the memory of those who weaponised proximity. A wise man learns to discern between a handshake of unity and a handshake of hypocrisy. Let the critics be reminded: ❤️Even Christ did not shake every hand. ❤️Even Mandela avoided certain tables. ❤️Even Nyerere, Nkrumah, and Lumumba refused certain embraces. Why? Because leadership requires the courage to say NO, even when the crowd expects a YES. So before you crucify H.E Kyagulanyi for refusing a handshake, ask yourself: Is leadership the art of pleasing everyone, or the discipline of knowing who must be kept at arm’s length? In African wisdom we say: “A man who shakes every hand eventually shakes the hand that buries him.” Therefore, do not mistake restraint for arrogance. Do not mislabel discernment as pride. And do not waste your breath attacking a man for simply remembering that some snakes have learned to walk upright.

To hold the Ugandan flag, is to affirm citizenship, not rebellion. It is to say: I belong here. My history is here. My future is tied to this soil. Those who attempt to weaponise the law against citizens for displaying the flag misunderstand both law and nationhood. The law exists to protect national symbols, not to criminalise love for them. When people are punished for expressing unity, the problem is not patriotism , the problem is fear of the people themselves. A confident state does not tremble at symbols. A secure nation does not silence pride. Only insecurity seeks to police belonging. The flag predates elections. It will outlive regimes. And it belongs to the people, not to power. Let us be clear: Allegiance to the nation is not allegiance to a moment. It is allegiance to a people, a land, and a shared promise. Ndi mu Jam wa Jinja road wano ne Flag yange.

When a nation is devoid of innovative ideas, it often turns to religion or ethnicity as a means of maintaining control. Leaders should be deeply concerned about the growing discontent of a patient population. History has shown that when frustrations are left unchecked, even the smallest spark can ignite a blaze of unrest, with consequences that are both unpredictable and far-reaching. Revolution, after all, is the voice of the unheard, and Uganda is not immune to this reality. We must navigate these turbulent waters with urgency before the tide rises beyond our control. If we wait until the crisis reaches our necks, we will all drown together. Somehow, memories are short and selective. When a nation is headed towards it's destruction, even when God reasons with the leaders,they think God mad. #Coffeebill
