The most extraordinary situation has been developing, and the time has come for me to blow the whistle on it. I have a tape of billionaire perfumier Jean-Paul Guerlain's son, heir and guardian, Stephane Guerlain, today threatening to poison the horses which are stabled on his father's land at La Vallee. I will post it below. He has been trying for some years now to get rid of his father's partner of nearly two decades, and, having used various devices in the past, has been quoted as saying that has once her horses go, she will as well. This is neither the time nor the place for a detailed explanation of a situation that is truly atrocious, save to say that Stephane Guerlain is a lawyer who has used every device to achieve the objective of having unfettered control over his father and his father's assets. The only thing that has prevented his assumption of total control has been the presence of his father's devoted partner of some two decades. I have been trying in the last week to get Bernard Arnault, the very grand and inaccessible boss of LVMH, which now owns Guerlain Perfumes and which, I am told, is responsible for providing Jean-Paul Guerlain with an income of some 1 million Euros per annum, to intervene to ensure that my concerns over the alleged abuses which have been brought to my attention, are cleared up. His people have been giving me the run around, but now that Stephane Guerlain has shown up at the property and threatened to poison the horses, I think the time has come for someone to do something. Since neither M. Arnault nor his people or Stephane Guerlain seem responsive to what strikes little old me as reasonable, responsible, respectful and responsive conduct, I will post the tape of Stephane Guerlain threatening to commit animal abuse. I do so in the hope that exposing his threats will prevent the implementation of them. I will never again buy even one item from Guerlain Perfumes or any other company associated with LVMH, until such time as Bernard Arnault and everyone else, who can bring a stop to this grotesque situation, demonstrates publlcly and unmistakably that they are responsive to public spiritedness and ordinary human decencies beyond the pretences and posturing that propel profitmaking. Translation of tape from French to English: Stephane Guerlain to his father's partner: You should be careful about your horses. It would a shame that they get poisoned. You don't care about your horses?
