हमारे समस्त पावन अवसर— चाहे वे पर्व हों, शुभ मुहूर्त हों, महापुरुषों की जन्म तिथियाँ हों अथवा पुण्य तिथियाँ, मूलतः सनातन संवत की शाश्वत कालगणना में निहित हैं। यह अत्यंत हर्ष का विषय है कि विगत वर्षों में महत्वपूर्ण उत्सवों को विक्रम संवत तिथियों के अनुसार मनाने के हमारे निरंतर प्रयासों को केंद्र एवं विभिन्न राज्य सरकारों द्वारा आधिकारिक मान्यता एवं स्वीकृति प्राप्त हुई है। इसी गौरवशाली परंपरा को अक्षुण्ण रखते हुए, आइए हम राष्ट्र के गौरव प्रातः स्मरणीय वीर शिरोमणि महाराणा प्रताप की जयंती को ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल तृतीया को श्रद्धा, सम्मान एवं गौरव के साथ मनाएँ, जो इस वर्ष बुधवार, 17 जून 2026 को है। जब हम सामूहिक रूप से अपनी पारंपरिक कालगणना और पंचांग का ससम्मान अनुसरण करते हैं, तब हम केवल परंपरा का पालन नहीं करते, बल्कि अपनी सांस्कृतिक पहचान, स्वाभिमान एवं विरासत को और अधिक सुदृढ़ एवं जीवंत बनाते हैं। Our sacred occasions, whether festivals, muhurtas, janma tithis or punya tithis, are rooted in the Sanatan Samvat.
