CD Malacitano a fourth tier side have set up their offices in Málaga. You might think nothing strange there but the club is based in Murcia and is not officially allowed to use the name CD Malacitano but for league purposes uses its original name La Union after the clubs owner tried to move the club from Murcia to Málaga. The Spanish competitions judge has also threatened to kick the club out of the league this season if they try to play in Málaga at the athletics stadium or use the name Malacitano. The club itself is hanging on to a recent ruling by the superior sports council that they will be allowed to move after a year of legal battles.
