BOOM. JJ Redick asks the question. I'll answer it. The media focuses on a black young man's legal (but obviously stupid) gun promotion more than they focus on Republican politicians' gun promotion because of systemic RACISM. It ain't hard. But we can level the playing field. 👇 Look, Ja Morant is stupid. A terrible role model. He should be punished by the NBA for reckless gun promotion. But it's even more important for NRA-owned politicians like Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Tennessee Rep Andy Ogles to be punished by voters for their reckless gun promotion. Until Abbott and these other sick GOP politicians see the same consequences that young black men face, they’ll just keep taking the NRA money. And the consequences of their gun promotion are far more devastating than anything Ja Morant could do. But right now, NBA players are more afraid of NBA management than politicians are afraid of voters. Let's change that.
