My Key Takeaways from today’s meeting with NITA Ghana 1. Licensing & Certification will apply to only professionals or organizations that are offering ICT services to Government MDAs/MMDAs or designated Critical Information Infrastructure 2. Section 23 which talks about 1% of regulatory fees on gross revenue of ICT businesses too has been scrapped. The Minister and NITa maintained their stance that the document we were debating has gone through a revision about four times and now cannot be made public until it’s moved from Cabinet to Parliament before there will be a final opportunity to make our voices heard with the most updated version of the document. WE WILL WAIT PATIENTLY ❤️
