Yep! *1982 - MJ saw Daniel do the Backslide on TOTPs & hired him as his choreographer. *1983 - MJ performed it on 'Motown 25' and renamed it the Moonwalk. *Then MJ hired "Boogaloo Shrimp" (Turbo) to teach him a faster, more aggressive version of the "Backslide" & "The Glide".
