It's not just about numbers, bronsexuals don't understand that. Charlamagne puts MJ, Kobe, and Steph over LeBron. Kobe almost 3 peated again basically by himself. Steph has been the best player in Lebron's era after Kobe retired. Kobe and MJ are interchangeable at #1. Good list.

Better scorer - Kobe Better defender - Kobe Better winner - Kobe (5 rings with 1 team) More scoring titles - Kobe And SKILL SET. Casual fans & analysts don't talk about skills, only stats. LeBron is a physical specimen who can pad his stats, but his skills aren't near Kobe's.

Both Kobe and Lebron's starting lineups were bad at this point, but Kobe's team was worse and he was playing in the West against juggernauts while Bron was in the Leastern Conference... At least Bron had Big Z who was an All-star, Eric Snow was an All-Defense player and Drew Gooden who was a walking double double.
