Anna Paulina Luna is an absent Congresswoman. Our neighbors in Florida are being crushed by the cost of living crisis, and Luna is doing nothing to help because she is more focused on herself than Floridians. I have always put service over self. Serving in Congress is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to change peoples’ lives for the better. Luna is choosing to squander that opportunity and serve herself over her constituents. As a result, she gets rich and famous. We pay more for gas, groceries, and healthcare.

In the army, I walked the ground in Kuwait where a drone attack killed six servicemembers and injured dozens more this March. That tragedy was preventable. The administration rushed us into a war with Iran that we were not operationally prepared to fight. It is a dereliction of duty to fail our troops and their families like this.

Today I read about a mother in Indian Rocks Beach with three young children who no longer qualifies for SNAP benefits because of legislation Anna Paulina Luna proudly supported. This is personal for me. Growing up, both of my parents worked hard. But there were tough times, and we relied on food stamps to get through them. That safety net made a difference for my family. Anna Paulina Luna just ripped it away from thousands of families across Pinellas County who need it just as much as we did. The people of FL-13 deserve a representative who remembers where she came from and fights for the families who are struggling right now. #LeelaGrayforCongress #LeelaJGray
