Dear people outside the USA, This is what America is really like. You've been lied to how wonderful it is here but it's not. It's horrible. We're a "Wizard of Oz" country where reality is behind the curtain. We criminalize the poorest people, literally. Many don't have healthcare. And many like this gentleman have to sleep on the streets. This happened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The crime? Being unhoused & eating in a McDonald's that a customer bought & paid for. We criminalize people doing good acts. We're an incredibly cruel country & a cruel society which I'm sure will be shown in some of the replies below from people pinching down on poor people. (I'd be shocked if that didn't happen. Don't come here please. Send help....

Dear people outside the United States 🇺🇲, This is Phoenix, Arizona 🏜️ I'd like to share with you what my country, the USA, really is like. You're bombarded with our music, our television shows, & what you see is & hear isn't reality. What you see is a lie. You're told "everything is bigger in America! Anything I'd possible in America!" but that means the problems too. People are living in "tent cities" all across the country 🏕️ because housing is too expensive & wages are too low. 50% of people ages 22-29 moved back home with their parents because they're drowning in student loan debt, something you don't have in your country thank God. The American dream is a lie. It's really the "American nightmare "...poverty is rampant here. And it's only getting worse... #PoorPeoplesCampaign
