Reporting from the warzone. Everyone saying “You see London and Miami are safer than Dubai” was right. It’s total chaos here.

Honestly sick and tired of this place. It’s too safe, taxes are too low, government services are too efficient, it’s too clean, crime is non-existent, and cost of living is affordable for a big city. I’m leaving asap.

Okay, motion designers are 100% cooked. Saw on x that Opus 5.5 could do advanced animations and I was skeptical at first. So I gave it a one sentence prompt, and it one shot this in 15 minutes. Will add the prompt below, but this is genuinely mind blowing. This level of work would have costed $8,000 - $10,000 with a motion design team and 3-4 week turnaround with multiple revisions. Claude did it in one go with this prompt: "make a dynamic 15-second motion graphics video that shows what an incredible motion designer you are, like it's your showreel for a résumé. go all out." The only thing remaining for humans is creativity and critical thinking.

There’s a free web3 coworking spaces here in Dubai. Free unlimited entry, free food, and free podcast room access. All in a prime location of Dubai Marina. Genuinely curious, what’s the business model here? How is this sustainable.

How to get someone to turn on their camera without sounding like an a**hole. Instead of saying “Can you turn on your camera?” Say, “Oh hey bro I can’t see you, it might be an issue on my side” 80% of the time people will be like “Oh no it’s me let me turn it on for you.”

Not only are motion designers cooked, but so are video editors. Claude Opus 5.5 edited this video intro for me in 15 minutes, consumed less than 2% of my Max plan. It added brolls, text overlay, colour graded, reduced echo, and cut out empty parts. Full context, I’m still using human editors. But man these models are getting so good that it’ll soon be hard to justify a multi five figure budget for a video team when AI can do it. Is it there YET? Not quite. However, I’m very close to a big YouTube content creator who only uses claude to edit all of his content. He hasn’t used a video editor in 2 months. So yes, we’re getting pretty close.

I fired my sales manager and replaced him with an OpenClaw system. It scores calls, classifies leads, coaches reps, and sends me a daily report on Telegram. It only costs $130/month, and our sales actually grew! Here's exactly how I built it.

Anthropic was just handed the best marketing card in history! There’s an old principle in marketing: if you want to create demand, give people something they love, then take it away. That’s exactly what happened with Fable 5. When it returns, demand will be insane.

My team meetings were scheduled for 1pm. People joined at 1:01, 1:02, and the real meeting started at 1:06. Six minutes gone, every single time. A friend told me not to make a fuss about it, and to change one thing about my own behaviour instead. Within weeks every person was on the call before it started, and I never said a word to anyone.
