heavy agree on this bc i’ll never forget how this video gave ppl the ick, where he’s loud, unashamed of himself and the queerest he’s has ever been, they’re just a bunch of hypocrites bc they don’t care about queer representation at all

the way this moment breaks me every time, lestat crying seeing claudia in agony without madeleine bc he knows better than anyone what it's like to exist without the love of your life. he experienced that, only he got a second chance, while claudia still couldn't find madeleine

some people will look you in the eye and say that mr "louis, you're soaking wet, you swam the mississippi to find me ☺️😁🥰" laughed at louis because he was mocking him, and not because he was so happy that louis wasn’t indifferent to him that he almost peed his pants

it's so funny in retrospect how louis was describing lestat as the devil himself when just a few years earlier, lestat was like this 😭 i mean, yeah, he had akasha's blood in him at that point, but i don't think he was any less whimsical

i love how in s1 louis' true feelings for lestat sometimes slip through, so you can see how happy lestat made louis feel when louis let him do so

this parallel keeps haunting me, gabrielle had such an impact on lestat, he even used the same tactics to get someone's attention, the only difference is that gabrielle knew lestat loved her and used it against him, while lestat was just desperate for louis to take him back

some people find it hard to believe that claudia liked lestat when it's literally her pov. she was happy spending time with him, bc she knew that lestat understood her better, it's just that sometimes the more you loved someone once, the more you hate them when they let you down

this scene wasn't a wake-up call for lestat as some people say (that was the next one), it was a wake-up call for louis, because he saw how his fixation on his own feelings could hurt the person he loves the most, and it really shifted the dynamic between them
