I am disgusted. Disgusted after watching the video of two Jewish women being denied entry to a thermal spa in Barcelona because one of them wore a Star of David - and because they were accused of being “Zionists.” Disgusted that in 2026, Jews can still be humiliated, excluded, and targeted, only now under a socially acceptable new label. So let’s say this clearly: Zionism means that the Jewish people, like every other people, have the right to self-determination in their homeland - the Land of Israel. And yes - for the overwhelming majority of Jews, Judaism and Zionism are deeply intertwined. The small minority of Jews who define themselves as anti-Zionist generally do so from specific religious or ideological worldviews. The narrative that turned “Zionist” into a slur must be challenged and dismantled. Because when “Zionist” becomes the socially approved substitute for “Jew,” we should stop pretending this is about politics. It is racism and discrimination wearing the costume of moral virtue. So here is my answer, loud and clear: I am a Zionist. Without apology. Without embarrassment. Without fear.
