Lewis Hamilton interview with Sky Sport after the race at Hungary Lewis: yeah, I definitely don't think we should have taken the stop, um, but the call came literally just before the pit lane entry and I didn't have time to debate. And you've got to trust that there's a decision that's been taken, but in hindsight, my tyres were totally fine. I was probably going to lose out to Max, but I think I could have kept third, at least. And then, yeah, just open up the door to obviously the penalty that I got at the end. Interviewer: bigger picture though is we're second in the standings. Got another 12, 13 races to go, and the car looks like it's steadily improving. So, you must be optimistic for the second half of the year. Lewis: definitely am. I'm massively grateful to the team because they've really done a great job in this first half. I think the last three races for me have not been great. Um, lots of mistakes, well, mistake at Silverstone, that, uh, cost dearly, and then obviously, uh, in the last race as well. So, um, yeah, and then this weekend. So, a lot of, a lot of penalties in the last three races, so I've got to, got to work hard to not give them an opportunity to give me any more penalties.
