The National Arts Council just confirmed that board members get paid PER HOUR that they attend meetings. I would typically not have found fault with this until I learnt that they’re also getting PAID to account to parliament! How could this possibly be?? It is SHAMBOLIC!! In this case, by his admission: Minister: Patriotic Alliance Chairperson of Board Interview Panel: Patriotic Alliance Chairperson of the Board: Patriotic Alliance Where are the checks and balances? The lead interviewer is PA. The person who becomes chairperson is PA. ALL under a Minister who is also PA! While the law allows the Minister to constitute it all as such, CLEARLY there’s some moral risk in the APPLICATION of the law here. Who’s pointing fingers now??

Athletics SA LOST their CIPC Registration in February 2025 - meaning that they were deregistered by CIPC. This was due to failing to submit several annual financial reports. What would that mean for the Federation? 1. It would lose its legal persona. 2. It can no longer enter into contracts. 3. It cannot transact. 4. It cannot form proper structures. 5. It cannot be funded by the department of sports, arts and culture. What would it mean for our athletes? 1. Funding for athletics would be slashed by over 80%. 2. Less events would be able to take place. 3. Athlete development would stagnate. 4. We would NOT be sending a high number of athletes to the Olympics. In this video, I made sure that those responsible for overseeing this mess were named and called for consequences to be taken regarding this!
