Today the men in suits showed up to tell us what would happen to Idaho's economy if we took away the slaves. It started with who will pick our potatoes. Then who will milk the cows. And then what about the sugar beets, barley and onions. Then Idaho's tater tots and yogurt. Illegals feed our country- Idaho state ag industry cannot survive without them. We were told that it's important for Idaho to have illegals to frame, roof, side, tile, sheetrock, paint, finish trim and landscape our new homes. Not because they do subpar work for lower wages but because there aren't enough Idaho men willing to do the work. We are in a housing shortage- Idaho state construction industry cannot survive without them. We were told that it's important for Idaho to have illegals to make our hotel beds, clean hotel toilets and tend to hotel landscaping. We need illegals to wash our restaurant dishes, take out the trash and fry our drive-thru food. Idaho hospitality and dining industries cannot survive without them. I'm no rocket scientist but it sure looks like they are replacing Idahoans with illegals one industry at a time- Because Idaho cannot survive without them (or something like that).

Sen. Guthrie with S1081- Drivers licenses for Illegals. 2023 Senate Transportation Committee- Testimony in favor from all those you expect: Idaho Dairymen's, IACI, Mormon Women for Ethical Government, Farm Bureau, Poder of Idaho, lots of anchor babies... Basically- If we give illegals drivers licenses they will surely pay for insurance and then they won't commit as many hit and runs. Same Senator is blocking mandatory e-verify, criminal penalties for employers for hiring illegals, auditing of the Idaho refugee system and mandatory 287g applications for all Idaho LEO.

Full press conference from Idaho Big Ag/Construction/ Dairy/Tommy Ahlquist on the threat of pending Idaho immigration legislation to their industries (scheduled at the exact time all legislators are sitting in floor sessions). Too long didn't listen summary: E-verify creates bureaucracy. Removing illegals from the workforce will be equal to the great recession. Not a state issue, let the feds fix it. Chobani can't expand if we remove illegals. E-verify creates more issues than it solves. Dairy takes offense to "slave labor" comments. Slave comments come from a place of ignorance. JFAC circling back to Idaho refugee "daycares" funded by your tax dollars: Story seems to go like this: refugees funneled into Idaho with taxpayer dollars, refugees assisted by refugee resettlement agencies to open daycares in Boise/apply for daycare grant funds from Idaho Health & Welfare- MOST not creating real businesses with the sec. of state, refugees received childcare grants from DHW under their own name rather than a business name, Idaho H&W should have but didn't 1099 refugees who received daycare grant funds, Idaho State Tax Commission has no knowledge of or checks and balances in place to ensure that taxes on the taxable income daycare grant funds sent to refugee owned daycares was/is/has ever been collected..... Looks like a giant scam carried out against Idaho taxpayers. Thoughts: 💭How much money has IDHW cost Idaho taxpayers with their refugee daycare grant shenanigans? 💭Next time the tax commission bugs you about paying your taxes.... 💭don't listen to dummies that say tweets don't move needles because once again Idaho X exposed all of this leading legislators to further dig into the refugee daycare grants...
