The LCBO is now packing up American liquor that taxpayers already paid for instead of selling it and recouping the cost. This is nothing but a waste of public money and a hollow political stunt. If they really wanted to take a stand, they could have stopped future purchases while selling off existing stock. Instead, they’re choosing financial loss over common sense. This morning I was this close to golden, crispy waffles… until I opened a brand-new, unopened box of PC organic pancake mix and found it crawling with bugs. Not one package — TWO. The first was a brand-new unopened box of PC pancake mix. The second was a sealed plastic package of organic PC mix. Both completely sealed straight from the store. That’s exactly why I always open my pancake mix (or flour) and let it sit first.
