When moving at high speeds, you can't just make quick 180 deg turns due to centrifugal forces. The turning radius for Mach 1 can be as large as 15-20 miles & requires significant space The level of detail on the physics even for JJK anime is absolutely incredible

A subtlety you can see at the end here: Higuruma is subconsciously aware of air "surfaces" and can pop his cursed energy against it to create an audible force. The 2nd character to show this after Ryomen Sukuna himself His talent as a sorcerer is in the tier of the "strongest"

This segment is just a continuation of Fearsome Womb arc in S1 (ch. 6-9, 213-215) Gege had two outcomes: 1. Series axed early 2. Keep going When he was able to keep going, he made sure to circle back to this very moment and continue the horror. This cat is a genius

Haibara: "It's so fun doing fireworks with everybody!" Geto (thinking): "Having other people is fine too, but... heh, doing it with my family is more relaxing after all." Geto thought of jujutsu technical college as his family 😭🙏

Perfect heavenly restriction users have a super sense that tells them when smth feels off, unnatural. Toji felt it with enlightened Gojo; ignoring it costed him his life It’s cool that as soon as Maki had 0 CE she also gained this sense about Naoya’s slightly uneven movements

This scene is incredibly important bc it alludes to Yuji Itadori's circumstances. Only players who have awakened or made to consume cursed objects by Kenjaku are players — yet Yuji is considered one from the very start And this was the moment when Megumi had figured it out

One of the most heartbreaking scenes in all of jjk. No music just silence. Kusakabe's slight reaction as she gets off. That stumble as she edges towards "Takeru." Kusakabe's tearful gratitude Hits close to reality and it's the reason why jjk is so good at humanizing characters

If yutaka nakamura doesn’t work on maki vs naoya, imma lose my shit. The ENTIRE fight is a tribute to his iconic animation style, including the famous yutapon cubes

Looking back this scene is actually funny bc it was a hard cliffhanger in the manga so gege really crafted several chapters of back-to-back peak, topped it off with a 3-way domain clash then said nah and went back to drawing cockroaches 😭😭

When you get down to it Megumi is a genius. He's able to figure out exactly how stupid complex CTs like Love Rendezvous work with no intel and pick up subtle face cues. He's done this TWICE already No wonder Gojo saw potential in him. Like Sukuna in terms of deductive ability

Hiromi Higuruma is a certified Gege Akutami masterpiece. A person of life whose situation can instantly feel sympathy for, yet remain distanced due to his inundated legal discourse It's also his nature as a lawyer that gives us sense of ethics, morality, and ultimately humanity

It was omitted in the narration, but here Maki used two forms of martial arts: -iaijutsu, the samurai quick draw, to stop Ogi -shiranui style, a sumo stance, to stop Naoya The irony when Naoya says she had nothing left as a woman but practices the most japanese masculine forms

The hall that Yuta and Takako Uro are walking down is the Sendai City Museum, across the historical venues and art galleries of the Heian era where Uro hails from, culminating with the flash of a Fujiwara lord representing her wrongful execution MAPPA is so incredible for this

The quickness to which Yuji immediately responded to his "crime," and his flat broken voice; before shouting for a retrial too. Enojun is way too talented I absolutely love how Yuji's confession immediately reminds Higuruma of his former ideology within law practice
