From my interview moments ago with Al Jazeera English on the defections among SDF and the popular movement in areas under their control: 🔸The SDF lacks the popular base due to its practices, which has led to the emergence of a popular movement against it, alongside the withdrawal of SDF forces west of the Euphrates and the occurrence of multiple defections within its ranks. 🔸Residents in those areas have grown weary of the SDF’s practices, which are based on discrimination and repression. 🔸What is currently unfolding is a popular movement against the SDF’s repressive practices and its policies, which are full of violations against civilians.
